Missing man, Lee County native, Steven Carter Best was mentioned recently on KENTUCKY MYSTERIES social meida.
Steven was last seen by family on February 3, 2018 in Beattyville, Kentucky, wearing camoflauge pants, a gray jacket or hoodie, brown boots, and a Batman beanie.
In 2022, Clay County authorities thought there may be a possible connection to Steven and a skull that was found nearly a year before on Red Bird in Clay County after the flooding in March of 2021, which had been a surprise to the Best family since authorities never contacted them on the matter.

He also suffers from unspecified health issues, Distinguishing Characteristics, Caucasian male. Brown hair, blue eyes, Best has the following tattoos: the name “Francesca” and a rose on his left arm, the name “Franny” on his right knee, and other tattoos on his back, chest, arms and shoulders.
